SYNOPSIS: Based on the novel by Leroy Aarons, a true story that occurred in the seventies, Bobby Griffith (Ryan Kelley) was a young gay man who committed suicide because of religious intransigence of his mother (Sigourney Weaver), a devout Christian. After the tragic event his mother understands her son's homosexuality and begins to fight for the cause.



We often happens that certain issues do not dare to speak or have shame, but listening to what usually happens to the other alone to clarify what we are much more complicated to understand, themselves think and answer to ourselves, we have no opinion or the experiences that others had experienced similar situations to ours.

But what happens when we decided to talk and found that far from receiving the support dear, blame and distancing get ..?

Prayers for Bobby, a touching story that I believe can help many people, especially teenagers who discover their feelings to feel sad, desperate, and that often suffer in silence than the other known .
Even in the XXI century, there are many myths and taboos about homosexuality and religion, unfortunately the only school that teaches us and opens our eyes the reality is life itself.
